Building a Meaningful Life and Business After Adversity
I realized the true value of life when I was diagnosed with cancer at the age of 19. Coming from a middle-class farming family in a small village in Kolhapur, I was still completing my education while going through chemotherapy.
The experience of seeing people struggle for life changed my perspective forever. Despite the difficult treatment, I continued my studies and completed my Bachelor of Science degree.
With God’s grace, I gradually recovered, married the person I loved and settled in Pune. As one of India’s leading IT hubs, Pune opened my eyes to new career possibilities.
Although I was new to the city and came from a small village, I always wanted to create something of my own instead of following a conventional career path.
I decided to enter the information technology industry and completed a web design course. I began working as a freelance web designer and gradually secured projects through bidding platforms and LinkedIn.
Freelancing taught me how to communicate with clients, manage projects, solve problems and take responsibility for every stage of the work.
Life, however, is never a perfect story. Nine years after my first diagnosis, I was diagnosed with cancer again. The recurrence was unexpected and deeply traumatic for me and my family.
My husband and family became my strongest support system throughout this difficult phase. Their care, encouragement and strength helped me survive, recover and stand again.
After recovering, I slowly returned to work with the same passion. I connected with professionals through networking, created a successful virtual team and delivered multiple web and mobile application projects during the COVID period.
With sustained effort and the support of skilled professionals, this journey eventually became Digital Techists Consulting LLP—my dream team.
Today, our focus remains on quality, honesty and measurable value. We help businesses strengthen their digital presence through websites, SEO, social media, paid advertising, branding and technology solutions.
We believe that when a business has the right digital presence, it has an entire world of opportunities at its fingertips.
